Shopping Day
During the holiday season, TDMF was provided a list of items in need by the Muskegon Rescue Mission for families that spend the holiday with them. We filled the wish list of many families as well as the pantry of necessities the mission needed. We are proud to give back to the Muskegon Rescue Mission and so thankful for all they do to help our community members out.
TDMF also shopped for Overcoming Barriers, an organization here is Muskegon that offers disability services including adult foster care, independent living and skill-building programs. They are helping persons with disabilities find happiness in their homes, personal relationships and as contributing members of the Muskegon community. We were so happy to fulfill their wish list for the holiday season!
During Covid, TDMF gave thanks back to the nurses, administration, cooks and housekeeping at a local nursing home during the pandemic. While we safely waited out quarantine, these essential workers were bravely doing their job every day. TDMF teamed up with Wesco and Zaloma’s Pizza to provide a dinner/popcorn movie night care package to show our appreciation for their meaningful work. Thank you to all the essential workers in Muskegon County! You are so appreciated!
