Feeding America West Michigan
The Tommy Davis Memorial Fund teamed up with Feeding America to give back to the Muskegon residents.
Mobile pantries are like farmers’ markets on wheels, delivering a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products and baked goods to people in need, often on the same day the food is donated. We are putting nutritious food in the hands of area children, families and seniors that need it the most. Together, we are helping to solve hunger in our community.
In 2019 and 2020, the Tommy Davis Memorial Fund distributed nearly 30,000 lbs of food each year resulting in providing approximately 22,000 meals in 2019 and approximately 30,000 meals in 2020 to our Muskegon residents.
Before the Christmas holiday, TDMF purchased turkeys to hand out to local food pantries ensuring everyone had a nice holiday meal.
